We will be having a special Networking Time set aside for the first portion of this month's Chapter Meeting.  It is a good time to get to know more members, find out about the companies they work for and to build your Business Network

Dinner Speakers: Deanna Landers & Carmen Wiedenhoeft

Title: Making the World a Better Place Through Project Management


This presentation will explore opportunities to contribute project management skills for positive social and humanitarian change.

We will provide information to facilitate the connection between project managers and humanitarian organizations, in order to make a difference, improve the good that organizations are already doing, and directly impact those in need.


Deanna Landers is a Portfolio Manager at Charter Communications, and the Founder of Project Managers Without Borders.  She also served on the boards of IEEE Smart Village, Metro Denver PM Education Foundation, PMI Mile Hi Chapter, and for 6 years on the international board of directors of PMI, leading the board as Chair in 2013. 

Carmen Wiedenhoeft is a Volunteer at Project Managers Without Borders. She works as a Technical Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente in Clinical Technologies. She has 20 years of experience in telecommunications, healthcare and cultural heritage.


Meeting Schedule

  • Registration and Networking: 5:00 - 5:30
  • First presentation or Networking (depening on event): approx. 5:30 - 6:30
  • Dinner: 6:30 - 7:00
  • Second presentation: approx. 7:00 - 8:15
