Leadership Lessons from West Point: 10 practices proven to increase personal, team, and organizational success 

 

Synopsis:  

West Point is one of the world’s finest leadership laboratories. Cadets there undergo a four-year-long leader development process that’s been honed through 212 years of experimentation. Yet, you don’t have to go to West Point to learn these lessons! Anyone can adopt these practices and become a better leader.

 

Bio:

David is a Corporate Trainer, Executive Coach, and Professional Speaker focused on transforming managers into high-performing leaders. A West Point graduate, he earned his degree in Leadership Development/Systems Engineering and led combat soldiers in the U.S. Army for nearly a decade. Following military service, David successfully directed project teams delivering professional services to the Federal government. In 2014, David founded The Leader Growth Group to develop self-aware leaders who inspire engaged workplaces. He has since help develop thousands of leaders, primarily in Fortune 500 companies to include Google, Schlumberger, Accenture, Harris Corporation, Arthur Gallagher, Johns Manville, Hogan Lovells, and Facebook.

  • The Go To Meeting link will be sent out by the Help Desk the Tuesday evening prior to the event after registration closes at 5:00 p.m.  If you have not received the link by Wednesday morning at 10a.m., contact the Help Desk no later than 3pm (helpdesk@pmimilehi.org).  Please ensure that you have the Help Desk email noted as a "safe sender email" so that it does not end up in your Spam box.  Refunds will not be given if you do not contact the Help Desk prior to 3pm and you are not able to gain access to the meeting.
