Career Growth doesn't happen by accident! In this workshop, learn how to engage in the art of skillful conversations as well as enhancing your ability to brainstorm through different roles!

Ginger Robitaille will present "The Art of Skillful Conversations"
Dignified and skillful conversations have the potential to make or break your success. Think of every conversation as an opportunity for you or your team members to reach individual and company goals, to get a new job, or that promotion you've been waiting for.  We get it, managing is fun until you have to correct someone's behavior. You'll learn how to have the tough conversations and do it well. Learn to say things in a skillful way and what not to say. Understand your trigger points that prevent you from turning conversations into successful and productive feedback. Moving forward, you'll communicate like you never have before.

 Rick Griggs will present "Rolestorming"
Rick Griggs’ “Rolestorming” is one of the best breakthroughs* in group decision making and problem solving since Alex Osborn developed the original brainstorming concept. Rolestorming is a strategic hybrid of role-playing and brainstorming. No other concept mercilessly aims at creativity, innovation, originality and implementation success. With memorable roles from the saint-sinner-winner categories, the technique launches individuals and teams to a new plateau of seizing opportunities, preventing trouble and solving problems.

Team Activity - Putting it all together: Participants will break into teams and assess their own needs and plans with respect to what they learned in both presentations. During the last 15 minutes of the event, each team will nominate a spokesperson to highlight to the entire workshop some of the things they learned.
