Eric Foss will present "Driving Strategic Innovation"

This interactive session will look at strategic innovation from a full lifecycle perspective. Elements from ideation through benefits realization will be discussed with an emphasis on tying font-end innovation with back-end innovation to achieve business success.  We’ll explore idea generation, elaboration, and selection as a feeder to a rich strategic innovation portfolio pipeline – and the importance of finding the right balance of science and art required for successful innovation and strategic portfolio delivery. Discussions will focus on the transition between the pipeline and a portfolio balanced with an optimal innovation mix for the organization. Of course, innovation is not complete until business benefits are delivered, so we’ll look at maintaining momentum through delivery of targeted business benefits. Throughout the session, we’ll explore the variety of skills and capabilities required during the organization’s innovation capability journey and the exciting professional growth opportunities that accompany this journey.
