PDUs for this event: Leadership (2.0)

Speaker:   Keith Renninson

Title: The Adventures of a Tenacious Leaker. You Don’t Have to Get Lost in Nepal to Find Yourself, But it Helps!

Synopsis: Keith’s presentation promises to inspire project managers to be leaders with a sense of adventure and enthusiasm. Using the acronym of “TRIP” Keith will share wonderful stories and exercises with the audience that will help them find adventure with Tenacity, how to “bounce back” with Resilience, when and where to use your Imagination, and how to fulfill your life, and work, with Purpose. Keith got lost on a trip into the Himalayas where he learned that these four-character traits are keys to success in life.

Bio: Keith is a Colorado native attending Douglas County High School and the College for Financial Planning. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Keith started with New York Life in 1975 when he was 27, acquired his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1989 and retired from planning in 2001.

Keith’s time in Vietnam taught him to never waste time, it’s too precious, and to that end he has lived an interesting life racing cars, foreign travel, and climbing many of Colorado’s famous Fourteener’s. His new book “Tenacity: You Don’t Have to Get Lost in Nepal to Find Yourself, But it Helps!” is based on the second trip when he traveled alone and got lost for a few days in the Himalayas.

Keith gained international acclaim with his 2004 article “Compassion at Death’s Door” in The American Legion magazine. His other books include: “The Pain and Joy of Love, A Collection of Black & White Photography, Short Stories, and Poetry”, and the illustrated children’s book on grieving “Zooch the Pooch, My Best Friend”.
