Welcome to the PMI Mile Hi Chapter DTC Chapter Meeting!

Due to inclement weather, this event has been post poned to 3/20. Everything else remains same. Sorry for the inconvenience and Stay safe & warm.

Directions from Denver:

  • Take I-25 S to Arapahoe Rd (Exit 197)
  • Turn left on Arapahoe Road
  • Turn left on Revere Parkway (approximately 2 miles east of I-25)
  • Take your second left into the parking lot of venue
  • The Franciscan Event Center is on the left and has a fountain in front of the building

  • Take I-25 N to Arapahoe Rd (Exit 197)
  • Turn Right on Arapahoe Road
  • Turn left on Revere Parkway (approximately 2 miles east of I-25)

Synopsis:

This session will walk you through the key skills you need to influence all levels of individuals impacted by your project. Our discussion will help you:

  • Identify your influencing targets and goals
  • Understand what project sponsors are looking for in their PMs
  • Learn what “people” information to pay attention to and how
  • Better frame your message back to your influencer
  • Practice these skills to influence a colleague (15 minute table exercise)

Bio:

Michelle Kahler is an expert practitioner in project management, business analysis, process improvement and change leadership at North Highland, a global management consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta. She is also a career sports enthusiast with a background playing D1 college basketball, pro-women’s football and most recently Lacrosse! For the past 20 years, Michelle has helped solve complex business problems and expand a variety of capabilities for many public and private sector organizations. She is an active supporter of the PMI and IIBA Denver chapters and meets regularly with colleagues to brainstorm ideas and career development…relationships are the key!

  • Registration and Networking: 5:00 - 5:30
  • First presentation: approx. 5:30 - 6:30
  • Dinner: 6:30 - 7:00
  • Second presentation: approx. 7:00 - 8:15
