The Job Search Skills Camp is back! We are hosting this Fall event with a plethora of learning, networking, and career advancement!

 

Online registration will close Wednesday, May 8th at 9 PM to accommodate extra venue meal orders.

The Job Search Skills Camp (JSSC) event provides a platform for PMI Mile Hi chapter members who are searching for a new opportunity. The members not only have access to potential recruiters and hiring managers with real job openings but also opportunities to prepare for those jobs. The events will include resume writing, coaching, tips on using social media and job search portals, as well as connecting with fellow project managers.

* Exclusively for Mile High Chapter Members

* Network with fellow Project Managers.  

* Recruiters and Hiring Managers from Companies providing:

            * Resume reviews & writing assistance

            * Job Searching Tips & Tricks

            * Current Employment Opportunities

            * Interviews Tips: Q & A

            * On-the-spot interviews

     *Hiring Process 

     *What an Employer Looks for in an Interview

 

Lunch will be served during this event.

A couple copies of your resume.

Schedule:

9:00-9:30       Registration/Networking.

9:30-11:30     Presentation.

11:30-12:30   Lunch.

12:30-2:30     Interaction/Discussions with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, & Networking.

 

 

Speaker Details:

Jayme H. Brown  |CTU Campus Director of Career Services 

Jayme H. Brown is the CTU Colorado Springs Campus Director of Career Services. She has been working in her Career Services role for over three years, and started out in the Admissions team in 2009. Jayme was involved in training new hires and mentoring team members. She manages the federal work study program with 70 students from the Colorado Springs and Denver South campuses, meets with students for coaching meetings, and responsible for business development in both Colorado Springs and Denver.

Jayme is currently involved in the Leadership Pikes Peak alumni committee and currently serves on the local non-profit board of CommonWorks.

Jayme obtained her Master of Science in Management concentration in Project Management degree in 2014 from Colorado Technical University, and her Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2000.

She previously worked in the staffing industry as a job recruiter for seven years, and also the advertising industry for a year and a half. Jayme pursued the Walt Disney World College Program internship in 1999 to obtain world class leadership training and work with people from all around the world!

Jayme will be discussing job hunting, resumes, interviewing, and LinkedIn.
