Synopsis of Presentation.  Patricia McDonald will share how PMs can improve project outcomes by gaining Business Acumen skills.  This presentation will focus on the experience, knowledge and skills to gain financial literacy, understand organizational culture and build stakeholder awareness.

About the Speaker.   Patricia McDonald has performed various business roles in Federal Government, Aerospace, Banking, Information Technology and Telecommunications industry.  She has managed multimillion dollar projects in these industries.  Patricia was responsible for resources and budgets on US and Global projects including Europe, Asia, and the Americas.  She developed project management processes, participated on IBM Management Certification Boards, performed project quality reviews, and presented key project management concepts at IBM conferences.

Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Stanford Certified Project Manager – Advanced Project Management, IBM Certified Executive Project Manager, Help Desk Institute Manager Certification, ITIL IT Service Management Foundation Certification, and Master’s Certificate in Project Management - George Washington University.

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business-Accounting and a Master of Business Administration.
