Johanna Walker is the fear-blasting, storytelling maven for coaches, consultants, leaders and change-makers. (aka a public speaking coach) As a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, she has presented for corporations, non-profits, community organizations, and the TEDx stage, helping audiences develop authentic presence as speakers, find the ideas they want to be known for, and craft those ideas into compelling presentations. Johanna is the founder of Craft Your Talk and Speaker’s Playground, transformational speaker coaching programs for leaders & change-makers, and Boulder’s Story Slam. She believes we all have a story to tell, and is passionate about bringing more stories to every stage.

Presentation:  "MIC DROP STORIES: How to tell stories that move audiences to action

A great story well-told will make you and your company unforgettable. But most leaders don't know what a good story is or how to to tell it a way that persuades stakeholders and teams to buy in with enthusiasm. Johanna demonstrates that stories have the power to embolden ourselves, build loyal followings, raise revenue and change the world.

• Registration for this event ends the Tuesday prior to the event at 5:00 p.m.  If you must register for this event after that time, contact the Help Desk (helpdesk@pmimilehi.org) up to 3:00 p.m. the day of the event to register (note that a late fee may apply).
• The virtual meeting link will be sent out by the Help Desk the Tuesday evening prior to the event after registration closes at 5:00 p.m.  If you have not received the link by Wednesday morning at 10a.m., contact the Help Desk no later than 3pm (helpdesk@pmimilehi.org).  Please ensure that you have the Help Desk email noted as a "safe sender email" so that it does not end up in your Spam box.  Refunds will not be given if you do not contact the Help Desk prior to 3pm and you are not able to gain access to the meeting.

• First part of the presentation: approx. 5:20 - 6:30
• Break & Announcements: 6:30 – 7:00
• Second part of the presentation: approx. 7:00 - 8:00
