Presentation Title: Storytelling for Fun and Success
An evening of fun and creativity-Techniques to improve your impromptu speaking skills; effective storytelling writing and performing techniques; the story frameworks that successful stories have.
Ray retired from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment in 2010. During that same time, he also taught public speaking and environmental science at DeVry University in Denver.
Ray has been a Toastmaster since 1984. He has given performances in improvisational humor and storytelling at the Toastmasters District and Regional Conferences.
In 2005, Ray became a certified storyteller and trainer with Spellbinders, an organization that tells stories to children in schools. He has told stories to thousands of kids in schools in Denver schools and has given workshops to Spellbinders and Rocky Mountain Storytellers at their annual meetings in Colorado.
Rich brings his audiences both to both tears and laughter — teaching them through his own experiences as a father of six, an elective amputee, more than 30 years in sales and marketing, and possessor of a competitive streak that has been forever documented in SPEAK: The Movie.
He's spent over 20 years in front of audiences of every size, from one-on-one to groups of 500+, sharing motivational stories, leading sales presentations, and coaching award-winning speakers.
