Presentation Title:  Turning the Titanic:  Charting a New Course for Your Troubled Project

   

Presentation Synopsis: Are you the captain of project that’s moving full steam ahead, but off course? The icebergs are out there, but can you turn the ship around before it’s too late? You’ve been handed the wheel of a project that's off-course, the project must change direction to be delivered, but how do you do it and fast? In this energetic session, attendees will learn valuable critical- thinking and problem-assessment skills, as well as techniques to build executable strategies that allow an organization course-correct before it’s too late.

 

Bio:

Jana is a focused leader who achieves ambitious results. Adept at moving between big picture and small details, she is able to help clients execute the right initiatives to implementation, maximizing value to the organization. Her expertise stems from more than 20 years of experience in leadership and ten years in project and portfolio. Jana is the founder of Project Genetics, a project delivery consulting firm, and is immediate past president of the Project Management Institute Mile High Chapter. She is an active PMP, ACP, CSP-SM, and Scaled Agilist and has a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Colorado.

 

Gigi Singh is adept at delivering strategic projects by integrating principles from multiple disciplines. By drawing on her experience with Agile coaching, servant leadership, lean methodologies, project and program management, and more she successfully delivers her projects. Gigi Singh partners with organizations to create innovative agile environments focused on transparency, culture, and continuous improvement. By empowering individuals, teams, and leaders to develop shared goals that facilitate being honest, collaborative, adaptive, and learning-focused, she is able to provide guidance at all levels of the organization to help them thrive. She is an active CAPM, ICA-Accredited Agile Coach, Scrum Master, and Scaled Agilist.

 

Mirinda is a visionary, innovative, customer experience-focused Certified Project Manager, Certified Change Manager, IT and Communications Professional. She has extensive experience driving top leadership’s organizational initiatives through strategic planning, successful implementation. She thrives on taking an organization to the next level using her strengths in leadership, project management, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, training/professional development. She is a thought leader with more than 20 years’ experience. Mirinda is a versatile, analytical, and collaborative problem solver with expertise in change management. She is an excellent public speaker and effective policy creator. She thrives on facilitation, creating buy-in, and generally bringing teams together.
