Topic:  Enable Your Team’s Success

Synopsis:  Good leaders have to know their teams.  Great leaders know what makes their team tick. In order to have a team, you have to understand what the strengths and weaknesses of the team members are, what makes them tick, what motivates them and what distracts them.  This presentation provides you with an understanding of people that make up your team and how to get them to perform as a team.

Speaker: Otis W. McGregor III, CPD, CPC, LTC (R); Founder & CEO LTO Enterprises LLC

About the Speaker.  Otis’ passion is creating better leaders.  He focuses his business on this goal daily.  Otis has spent his career creating better leaders, in the Army Green Berets, in businesses large and small, and now as CEO of LTO Enterprises.  

Otis retired from the Army in 2009 as a Green Beret Lieutenant Colonel following 25 years of service.  While in the Army, Otis had the unique experience to be part of new organizations, working to create these new units into cohesive effective organizations.  His experience ranged from artic conditions in Alaska to counter-terrorism units in Iraq and Afghanistan, and to NATO Special Operations Headquarters.  Being part of these organizations from the ground up, provided Otis an immense amount of experience in creating successful organizations.

Since retiring from the Army, Otis has been the Business Development Manager, Director and Chief Strategy Officer for several companies ranging in size from very small to very large corporations.  He founded LTO Enterprises LLC (lto-enterprises.com) in 2010 as a consulting firm focused on business development.  In 2017, Otis pivoted LTO to create better leaders of high performing teams and performance coaching for business leaders and athletes.  He is CEO & Head Coach of LTO Enterprises, co-host of The Cam & Otis Show weekly podcast, and author of the book Enable Your Team’s Success: Succeed in Life and Business with a Strong Team.  Otis has 3 grown children and lives with his wife in Colorado.

Otis holds a BS-Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University and a MA-in International Affairs from Naval Postgraduate School.  He is a Certified Professional Coach, Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC); COR.E Leadership & Performance Dynamics Specialist, IPEC; Certified Project Director and Certified Project Trainer, Institute of Project Management (IPM); and a USA Rugby Level 300 Coach.
