Synopsis.  During the July Roundtable Scott Morrison will lead a discussion on the following concepts:

  • How do sponsors fit within your organization? Includes your project and the overall organization
  • What do you need from your sponsor? The sponsor can have a long-lasting impact on your career and impact personal growth
  • What does your project need from your sponsor? Support organizationally, resources, decisions, escalations, and many other needs
  • How to work with difficult sponsors? There are times when you need to improve efficiencies with sponsors, let's talk about those moments

 

 

 

 

Speaker.  Scott Morrison, CSM, PMP

About the Speaker.  Scott is currently a Senior IT Project Manager with the Regional Transportation District.  He has over 25 years’ experience as a project or program manager in IT and/or Business role.  Scott has extensive expertise in the telecommunications, health care, and manufacturing industries.  His previous positions included Business Project Manager Clinical Programs at Kaiser Permanente, Technical Program Manager at Anthem, Director/Senior Manager at US Western Communications, and multiple roles as founder/owner of Morrison Consulting.  Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Regis University and has Project Manager Certification from US West/University of Denver Center for Program Management.
