Regis PMI South Virtual February 2021 Roundtable

Strategic Business Management skills

Topic:  Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Contemporary Methods and Tools

We all know that stakeholder management is critical to project success, but few organizations have moved past the classic spreadsheet-based tracker. Challenges in today’s work environment make it harder than ever to maintain the attention and focus of critical project stakeholders but also offers opportunity to differentiate your methods from the rest.

In this presentation Project Managers (PMs) will learn systematic and effective methods for identifying, engaging, and communicating with project stakeholders. We will also explore tools, templates, and real life examples for leading stakeholders through requirements gathering, decision making, and crisis management.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the needs and preferences of project and program stakeholders.
  • Integrate stakeholder identification, requirements gathering, communication, and decision making.
  • Explore contemporary tools and platforms.
  • Identify critical factors for optimizing the remote work environment.
