Presentation Titles:   Life is a Project – Applying your Project Management Skills Everyday

Presentation Synopsis:  

How to be organized, transferrable skills, and identifying the right level of PM skills to apply.  This presentation will provide project management practitioners insight into how their skills are transferable to everyday life.  Often we separate the skills we use in our personal and professional lives.  This past year more than ever has blurred those lines.  When we use our knowledge and apply it to our daily lives we can be more organized and reach our goals.

Speaker Bio: 

Amy S. Hamilton is a cyber security professional, IT project manager, author, motivational speaker, and shoe aficionado. She became a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute in 2007 and has been a volunteer in her local chapters in Stuttgart, Germany and Colorado Springs, CO.  She presented on the “The Secret to Life from a PMP” at TEDxStuttgart in September 2016.  She taught Project Management Tools at Colorado Technical University and was a facilitator for the Master’s Degree Program in Project Management for Boston University.

• Registration for this event ends the Tuesday prior to the event at 5:00 p.m.  If you must register for this event after that time, contact the Help Desk (helpdesk@pmimilehi.org) up to 3:00 p.m. the day of the event to register (note that a late fee may apply).
• The virtual meeting link will be sent out by the Help Desk the Tuesday evening prior to the event after registration closes at 5:00 p.m.  If you have not received the link by Wednesday morning at 10a.m., contact the Help Desk no later than 3pm (helpdesk@pmimilehi.org).  Please ensure that you have the Help Desk email noted as a "safe sender email" so that it does not end up in your Spam box.  Refunds will not be given if you do not contact the Help Desk prior to 3pm and you are not able to gain access to the meeting.

• First presentation: approx. 5:30 - 6:30
• Second presentation: approx. 6:45 - 8:00
