Learn to Shepherd Your Team
Our society, organizations, and friends are exhausted by leaders who place their own interests over those whom they have a responsibility to serve. Eric will help you:

  1.  find your leadership voice,
  2. learn the “permission to lead”, and
  3. apply servant leadership to influence outcomes.

Attendees will learn 6 principles for building a high performing team, identify their servant leadership style, and apply it to project work.

Virtual Team Leadership in a Time of Pandemic
Leading a project team can be a challenge in the best of times. Pandemic magnifies those challenges. How do I keep team members engaged? How do I my keep team productive? How can I communicate better? Andrea will address:

  1. key areas of focus for virtual teams,
  2. productivity,
  3. communication, as well as other resources for this time.

Attendees will hear the latest information about the benefits and challenges of virtual team leadership, and learn effective remedies for easing those challenges.

Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson currently serves as technical program manager for a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company in Denver, Colorado.  In addition to his job, he volunteered to form a team that employed servant leadership principles to architect a sustainable model supporting 730 employees.  The community encourages staff driven initiatives in areas that include innovation, fellowship, and personal development.  He earned a BS in Finance from the University of Nebraska and a MA from Webster University in Information Technology and Resource Management. He is a values-centered leader that equips people to lead more effectively through employing servant leadership principles.  He also writes a weekly blog on leadership and team building found at www.shepherdingheart.com.

Andrea Buell

Andrea Buell is a Certified Co-Active coach and project management specialist who enables people and teams to bring clarity and vision to their projects and themselves.  Currently, Andrea works as a Program Manager for an early career female technical talent coaching program at global medical device company, Medtronic. Andrea continuously utilizes her varied skills in coaching, facilitating, training, and project management, especially in the planning and scheduling areas. She has over 30 years of PM experience in business process improvement, acquisitions, change management, instructional design, and software development in multiple industries. A chronic volunteer for PMI since 2003, and as Mile Hi Chapter VP of Public Relations 2007-2011, she drove the 2009 Chapter awards win. Andrea, originally from Canada, now lives in the Boulder, Colorado area.
