Topic. Strategy Achievement and Building Capabilities

This interactive session will explore elements that enable business agility and accelerate delivery of strategically aligned business value. Discussions will address best practices and build on the presenter’s experiences, and perspectives of the Roundtable participants to discuss organizational structure, collaboration, executive alignment, decision-making, transparency, and delivery agility. We’ll then bring these elements together to look holistically at the business agility environment and the importance of how these elements work together. Finally, we’ll close the session with the opportunity for in-depth questions and discussion from Roundtable participants.           

Participants will take away learnings and perspectives from the presenter as well as other participants as each element is discussed and we explore the importance of integrating these capabilities to accelerate your business agility journey.

Speaker.   Eric Foss, PMP, PfMP

About the Speaker.  Eric is an executive-level leader and consultant who bridges the gap between strategy and business value delivery. He embeds the business agility necessary to accelerate delivery of strategically aligned business outcomes. Eric’s people-centric transformation approach enhances collaboration while recognizing and respecting participation, contribution, and perspectives at all levels. He establishes structure to ensure alignment and operationalize responsive data-driven decision making. He drives strategic alignment with a focus on implementation, interdependencies, and realization of targeted benefits.

Eric brings a wealth of experience from a career including progressively senior positions: Vice President, Consulting Services with MI-GSO | PCUBED; Managing Consultant with PM Solutions; Management Consultant with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and a Naval Flight Officer with the US Navy.  As an author he has contributed to multiple books: The AMA Handbook of Project Management; and Portfolio Management - How to Innovate and Invest in Successful Projects.  He has presented at numerous professional events including the PMI Mile-Hi Rocky Mountain Project Management Symposium, PMI Global Congress (North America), PMI Mile-High Chapter Meeting, PMI Mile-High Career Growth Day, Project World, and Microsoft Project Conference.
