Sarah Maxwell, Chapter Engagement Supervisor, PMI

Bio:   

Sarah Maxwell is a passionate community engagement specialist and public speaker who leads and supports the Chapter Engagement Partner (CEP) team to strengthen PMI’s relationship with its chapters and ensure alignment with PMI:Next, North America regional priorities, and PMI’s global community strategy. With a background in theater and community outreach, she brings warmth, clarity, and connection to every conversation—whether supporting chapter leaders or speaking on international stages. Sarah founded PMI’s internal Toastmasters Club, earned her CAPM, and has represented PMI at TED 2019 and the 2023 PMI Africa Conference & Sub-Saharan LIM. Outside of work, she sings with and serves on the board of Coro da Capo, a nonprofit a cappella choir offering free, high-quality concerts to the public, and lets off steam with her cover band, Northern Lights.

Janet Lau is a leader with 15+ years of experience driving large-scale strategic technology initiatives. She has managed multi-million-dollar portfolios at Fortune 500 companies, with expertise in PMO leadership. She is currently a Senior Consultant at Charter Communications, building Internet Products.

Starting her career as an engineer, Janet understands the evolving skill sets today’s project professionals need to thrive. She holds multiple certifications, including the PMP and Executive & Performance Leadership from Cornell. Janet is dedicated to empowering others to grow as leaders, embrace change as an opportunity, and deliver meaningful, measurable results.

Bio:   

Amy Baccei is an accomplished project management and service delivery leader with a proven track record of aligning strategic objectives with operational execution. She holds a Master’s degree (MA), is a certified PMP®, and has earned ITIL® credentials.

Throughout her career, Amy has specialized in guiding cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, with particular skill in negotiation, process optimization, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. She thrives in environments that require both technical acumen and interpersonal dexterity, adept at bridging gaps between technical teams, executive leadership, and clients to ensure outcomes meet organization-wide goals.
