Title: The Recruiter's Perspective: What Really Gets You Noticed
Recruiter Panel hosted virutally in collaboration with PMI Metro St Louis Chapter.
Summary:
You've worked on your personal brand. You've learned how to show up on LinkedIn. Now hear directly from the people doing the hiring.
In this closing session of our three-part series with PMI Mile Hi's Job Seekers Group, PMIMSL hosts a panel of recruiters representing corporate, contract/staffing, and independent perspectives. The conversation starts where the first two sessions left off, but goes further. Covering the full picture of what makes a candidate stand out including your resume, how you network, how you follow up, and how everything you put out there comes together in the eyes of a recruiter.
This is your chance to ask the questions you've always wanted answered, straight from the people on the other side of the process.
At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Identify what recruiters look for when evaluating a candidate's LinkedIn presence and personal brand
- Recognize common mistakes job seekers make during the recruiting process and how to avoid them
- Understand how recruiter priorities differ across corporate, contract, and independent hiring contexts
Apply recruiter insights to strengthen their resume, networking approach, and follow-up strategies
