Short Term Volunteer (up to 5 hours / month)
Taking on the role of Team Member, you're excited to be involved in a specific project or ongoing activity. You're committed to assisting our chapter's impact in the Project Management community.
Mid Term Volunteer (up to 10 hours / month)
Taking on the role of Director, you're excited to oversee larger chapter initiatives. You're committed to helping our chapter's impact in the Project Management community.
Long Term Volunteer (up to 20 hours / month)
Taking on the role of Executive Director, you're excited to oversee a department. You're committed to elevating our chapter's impact in the Project Management community.
Board Volunteer (up to 30 hours / month)
Taking on the role of Vice President, you're committed to 2 years on the board providing strategic direction. You're ensuring our chapter thrives and serves our members.

Outreach | Co-Director, Company Outreach | Support our #1 goal for Outreach, reaching out to local companies for sponsorship and building relationships with them. This is currently a director they will be working with. This includes attending local events, cold emailing and other strategies to engage local companies. Outreach | Project Manager, Company Outreach | Support the two company outreach directors in maintaining database, organizing outreach efforts and supporting organization of company outreach. Looking for someone organized and nice to have some data analysis experience. | Mid Term |
Outreach | Director, Academic Outreach | Reach out to academic or learning institutions to build relationships with them and explore partnerships with them. Looking for someone connected to academic institutions or comfortable engaging with these institutions. | Mid Term |
Membership | Project Manager, Networking Events (2) | Assist in planning volunteer and networking events by researching and selecting appropriate venue options. Add events to the online calendar. | Mid Term |
Membership | New Membership Orientation (NMO) Volunteer - South | Help run the NMO program in the South by: Helping to define, implement, and update the program. Communicate with new members. Attend/present at in-person or virtual events. Determine appropriate locations/spaces for in-person events and make arrangements for them. | Short Term |
Membership | 2025 PMDoS Planning Committee: Non-Profit Recruitment | Recruit, interview non-profits for 2025 PMDoS event. Coordinate with Marketing and Communication to ensure consistent communication. Establish timeline and expectations. Share updates with Planning Committee. | Short Term |
Membership | 2025 PMDoS Planning Committee: Non-Profit Onboarding | Review interested non-profit submissions, interview and train them on this event expectations & timelines. Work closely with Non-Profit recruitment team, share notes. Work closely with Project Manager Onboarding team to match PMs with Non-profits. Plan, Schedule, Train and Onboard for 2025 PMDoS event. Membership | 2025 PMDoS Planning Committee: Project Manager Onboarding | Recruit volunteer Project Managers for participation in PMDoS. Coordinate with Marketing and Communication to advertise across media for volunteers and to ensure consistent messaging. Review resumes of volunteer project managers and make final determination to accept/reject volunteer application. Develop/Revise training material and conduct training of volunteer project managers in preparation for event. Create/Revise/Maintain templates for Project Managers to use during event. Work closely with the Non-Profit Onboarding lead to match PMs with Non-profits. | Short Term |
Membership | 2025 PMDoS Planning Committee:Venue Coordination | Serve as the primary point of contact for the venue that PMDoS will be hosted at. Identify venue, obtain contracts and pricing, and make final decision as to location. Coordinate all efforts to ensure food, furniture, technology, signage, etc., are available on the day of event. Make the final decisions and be the primary point person for all contracted vendors. Coordinate with VP Membership for all contracting needs. Identify help needed and solicit help from Planning Committee or other volunteers as needed. Share updates with the planning committee. | Short Term |
Membership | 2025 PMDoS Planning Committee: Sponsorship | Recruit sponsors for the PMDoS event. Develop sponsorship tiers, determine benefits, and connect with sponsors. Coordinate all donations from sponsors (e.g. financial or material). If donations are material in value, obtain timelines from sponsor on when any dependencies are required. Provide sponsor benefits as agreed upon. Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to ensure alignment. Coordinate with the greater PMI Mile Hi Board Members (e.g. VP Sponsorship, VP Membership) to ensure alignment with other PMI Mile Hi initatives and branding.
