Synopsis: Failure in communication is the root cause of most of our project issues. The listener will be encouraged to take ownership of their conversations and given tools to put in effective systems of communications. Also, the presentation addresses the art of effective communication using project management methodologies such as the Last Planner System (LPS) and Scrum

Speaker: James Gable, AGC, BCSP; General Superintendent at Adolfson and Peterson Construction, Toastmaster International Program Quality Director District 26, Communication Problem Solver and host of the Uncommon Communicator Podcast.
About the Speaker. James spent 35 years in the construction industry. Beginning his career in the Millwright apprenticeship he worked through all the ranks of journeyman, foreman, General Foreman and eventually Superintendent. After a 3-year stint as a project manager he moved into the role of General Superintendent. It is through this experience that James developed the skills of communication, from the laborer in the trench to the project executives and owner groups, effective communication is the key to success.
