Presentation Synopsis.  Leading a project team can be a challenge even in the best of times. During a pandemic leading a team when everyone is working virtually from their homes, magnifies those challenges.  Questions like: How do I keep team members engaged? How do I my keep team productive? How can I be a more resilient leader?

In this condensed version of a 3-hour workshop, Virtual Team Leadership in a Time of Pandemic, Andrea & Pam will share some of the latest information about the benefits and challenges of virtual team leadership, remedies for easing those challenges, and ways you can be the best virtual leader possible.  Attendees will learn the details of the following Roundtable Topics:

About the Speakers:

Andrea Buell
Pamela Wagner

Andrea Buell is a Certified Co-Active coach and project management specialist who enables people and teams to bring clarity and vision to their projects and themselves.  Currently, Andrea works as a Program Manager for an early career female technical talent coaching program at global medical device company, Medtronic. Andrea continuously utilizes her varied skills in coaching, facilitating, training, and project management, especially in the planning and scheduling areas. She has over 30 years of PM experience in business process improvement, acquisitions, change management, instructional design, and software development in multiple industries. A chronic volunteer for PMI since 2003, and as Mile Hi Chapter VP of Public Relations 2007-2011, she drove the 2009 Chapter awards win. Andrea, originally from Canada, now lives in the Boulder, Colorado area.

Pamela Wagner.  With experience in fields such as event planning, project management and process improvement, Pamela has worked in nutraceutical product development, medical device manufacturing and is currently employed as a Sr. Project Manager in the IT department of Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Safety, a division of Denver Health. Pamela is also the founder and principal consultant for White Bark Blue Sky Consulting which provides project management and process improvement consulting.  Pamela is also passionate about diversity and inclusion and creates women in leadership programs and workshops. Pamela graduated from Northern Arizona University with two Bachelor’s degrees in Forest Management and Public Relations.  After growing up in Las Vegas, NV she has lived throughout the western U.S.  An avid hiker, Pamela is happy to now call Boulder her home.
