Presentor: Ann Canfield, MS

Bio:  

Ann has a master’s degree in behavior analysis and therapy. Ann has worked several industries including hotels, sales, marketing, operations and manufacturing. Ann has been in manufacturing for the past 15 years working with staff from the shop floor to the top floor. Ann is the owner of Finding Strength Today where she offers leadership and communication coaching and workshops as well as Positive Neuroplasticity Training. She is the president of Toastmaster’s club, a member of the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, Women in Manufacturing and partners with Parent to Parent USA.

Presentation: "How to turn a confrontation into a conversation"

We will explore how to use observation, curiosity and active listening to redefine confrontation for increased communication, mutual understanding and building stronger relationships. This presentation addresses difficult situations providing conflict resolution confidently having each party walk away with a feeling of being understood and a plan of where to go from here.

• Break: 6:15 - 6:30
• Second presentation: approx. 6:30 - 7:35
